Toolmaking is a creatively demanding industry and is important in developing and raising the level of technological development of the national economy. It is characterized by material non-intensity, precision, prudence, creativity, ecological friendliness, energy efficiency and cooperativeness. We have been nurturing and developing all of the above for over 100 years. This is also confirmed by the acquisition of a quality certificate 22 years ago (in 1996), when the BVQI certification body granted the company EMO Orodjarna the ISO9001 quality certificate and ISO 14001 in 2000. A year later (2001), we upgraded the system with the EAQF automotive quality standard (identical to VDA 6.4) and with the 20 Keys system of continuous improvement. In 2005, we received the “Investors in people” certificate and in 2013 the SQ (Slovenian Quality) certificate.
